July saw the return of rising average asking prices, albeit a very modest increase. With hindsight, it appears that prices hit rock bottom late last year and, apart from a minor blip in June, have increased every month so far in 2009.

Reports are appearing that renting out residential accommodation will soon require a licence. Private landlords will need to apply for a licence before they can rent out residential accommodation under new regulations which the Government is preparing to introduce, according to new reports out today.
